Pay attention to the parallels to the first episode.  Flying Witch 11 didn’t air yesterday, so naturally we couldn’t sub it; we don’t have the technology yet. Expect a whale of a double episode (and a bit of a delay) plus the final episode of Kiznaiver next weekend.

Aka: Also naturally, we released this episode much later than we usually do. More time to finish obviously means more time to delay. I was going to wax poetic just now, but I believe in all of you and your ability to understand. After all, we’ve been connected this whole time through our subs.

Akatsukin is right, I’d have posted Gomorins. I fucking love Gomorins.

This episode featured various witch activities such as recreative canidae petting and large-scale environmental pollution. It also had one of my three favorite moments of this story. (The final episode will be lovely.) Finally, I wish Akane would take me away in my dreams.

Last year, I announced we’d do ReLIFE in an unprecedented abuse of my then newly-won leadership powers. Alas, my reign of terror did not last very long. We’re currently looking at a number of options for summer season, with Amanchu being our frontrunner at the moment, if all stars align. Leave your good wishes with your local witch supervision officer.

Notes. Hisomu, rather esoterically, makes a reference to an oldish manga called Satorare at 4:37. This manga is about geniuses who are so smart that they can’t help but telepathically project their thoughts to everyone around them. Therefore the correct translation is not that they’re “mind readers”, but that their thoughts and feelings are projected.

Boukyaku burikko, in more words than we could’ve used, means a girl who acts ditsy in an attempt to be cute and also has an element of forgetting things. In other words, she pretends to have forgotten stuff to act cute.

Charles contains Ruru in Japanese and Macking contains Maki.

Saibamen are from Dragonball Z.

I’m sorry I couldn’t fix the manjuu bun line. The pun is 不満の麸饅頭 “fuman no fumanjuu” since they sound similar. Many man hours went into the line but we ended up with what you saw. That’s the best our technology can do.

Akatsukin: Oops, totally forgot to explain the title (thanks ask.fm). It’s a combined word with kizu meaning “wound”, kizuna meaning “bond”, and then with “naive” stuck on the end. Though if you’re watching this you probably knew, but just for posterity.
